TV Series

I enjoyed it mate.

There`s been that many different slants put on it over the years, it`s just one of many.

Guy Pierce is very good as Scrooge, really captures the character very well, Stephen Graham as Marley, not so good.

I think it`s a case of each to their own with it.

I thought it was good.

This thread is awesome for recommendations.
To bump some of the tips I got

Queen Of The South - watched all 4 series in about 2 weeks, superb. Got a bit of a Breaking Bad feel to it.
Watchmen - so smartly produced and written. Very gripping and thought-provoking. Soundtrack by NIN is phenomenal too.
Spy - Sacha Baron Cohen delving into serious acting and an absolute triumph. Eye-opening cultural insight into the Isreal/Syria conflict in the 60's.
Condor - Homeland style CIA thriller, very easy watch but gripping.

Just finished the first 4 episodes of The Mandalorian through sources of debatable legitimacy.

Awesome, like a pure bad-ass space Western.
And this lose connection brings me round to...
The Witcher...somebody has put a lot into this and 2 eps in, I'm undecided.

I can't get the feeling out of my mind, that it all would've been better spent on the Idris Elba Darktower thing

The Witcher is really going to divide opinions.

I can`t see there being a middle ground with it, you`ll either love it or meh.
I like a bit of sword and sorcery but there wasnt anything in it that has made me look for a 2nd series, the characters lacked any character and the minstrel made my brain bleed, its average at best

Enjoying season 2 of Castle Rock at the moment

As much as i enjoy Watchmen - Can't help but thinking it's a bit of a muddled mess - Lots of assumptions made that people already know the backstories to all of the characters

Looking forward to watching Don't F*** with Cats over Christmas
