TV Series

Disagree with you lot on The Witcher. I think it is outstanding. 5 episodes in and LOVING it.

I am not finding the timelines confusing at all, but after playing The Witcher 2 & 3, then reading 2 of the books, i have a better idea of the wider world and timeline.

I think for a lot, it will be similar to Westworld season 1, where on re-watching much more makes sense.

I do think they missed a trick with some of the casting though. Ciri isn't feisty enough for me (at least yet), and so far Triss has been a bit-part in one episode.

Think the latest season of ray Donovan has been pretty poor up to now.

started on rick and Morty recently aswell, caught the pickle rick episode on tv a few weeks ago which was brilliant so have been working my way through the seasons catching up. Thought season 1 was just okay butit really gets good midway into season 2

I'm four episodes in now. First episode was quite mediocre (loved the fighting though), second episode was horrible, third episode I really enjoyed and the fourth one was okay, but not great. My opinion of course.

The worst part about the series for me is the dialogue, I just can't take it seriously, it's so overly dramatic all the time (a couple of the actors are as well). They also ruined my favorite character from the games (played all three) and the books (i'm a few chapters into the fourth one), Dandelion. They could've spent a few more florens on the CGI, costumes and make-up as well.

I think Geralt and Yenn is very well casted, while Ciri is all right to me (not perfect, but ok). Seems to me they missed the target with Triss and Dandelion though.

The show is very 2019, as it does have a wee bit of SJW propaganda in it, which does not fit the universe at all imo.

When I said earlier I think they've missed the tone (or the feel) of the books, I'm thinking it's a bit too colorful and the world is very fantasy-ish. In the books (and games) it's very grounded and realistic most of the time, it just happens a lot of crazy stuff in it.

Ray Donovan has out produced itself. Gone way to weirdly Hollywood.. Bit like how power went all wack too

Omg.. Watching 'don't *** with cats'

It's defo not really for morning watching.

It's about a Canadian killer who gets hunted down by Internet geeks.

True story with real footage.

Watched the second and third episode of the Witcher to give it a go, it’s just straight up bad television and i genuinely can’t think of anything good to say about it at all, it’s everything I expected based on the crappy trailers.

bad acting, bad cast, bad television
