Thought filming had finished and it was set for release in 2019...surely cant start filming now and release so fast?
So many fund managers are like that mate...his character was pretty much a carbon copy of at least 4 that i know.

No evidence to say it has already started. A lot of shows are like that, there isn't much in the way of special effects so they probably don't need a lot of time post production. The only difficulty I suppose is with McMafia you have multiple locations where you might be filming scenes out of sequence not to have to fly back multiple times. But seeing the series won't end until mid to late Feb still gives them plenty of time.

I think he is playing it restrained. There are parts of the series where he is under stress and or danger and it's not wooden. He is just playing a cold, calculating character that has been brought up to hide emotions. Now he has moved to the top of the chain that may change a bit in series 2.
Norton as an actor has shown he can do juicy parts, Happy Valley for one.
The whole thing was bad, gave up after one episode.

It's one of only a handful of series that I have bothered to watch again. I wouldn't say it's the absolute best thing that has been on TV in the last few years, but it was intriguing. It is a slow burner too so judging it on one episode may be a tad bit harsh.

anyways ive finished Ray Donovan last night , what a last episode to season 6 !! its absolutely brilliant is Ray Donovan.
goes to show that its worth persisting with some series, id previously tried to watch it on several occaissions but could never get into it until recently.. I rate it as one of the best, the fact it gets better as the seasons go on and theres 6 of them shows how good the writers are
im up to date with Power now..
going to do City on a Hill next … starts next week

Ray Donovan is brilliant
Power is one of the worst shows I’ve seen in a long time, started off good and fell off a cliff in series 3. For the love of god I don’t know why I still watch it
