TV Series

There's 3 films in this series,1974, 1980, 1983, excellent watch, it's on All4 and can be downloaded through your Sky planner.

When they came out, they where actually shown as a tv series on BBC 2.

The books ( there`s 4 of them ) are magnificent, but not for the faint hearted.

The content and subject matter is beyond dark, especially the stuff with the kids.

The TV series / films almost follows the books to the word.

One of the all time great British dramas.

If you`re looking for quality @BigBlueNose this is sublime.

( you have to be in the mood though, as it`s unrelentingly bleak / brutal )

I watched them when they first screened on TV, I’m sure they were on Channel 4, they were made by Channel 4.

Just noticed they’d been put on All4, Sean Harris is superb in it, the cast is top quality, this was the making of Garfield.

You’re right, they where on Channel 4.

Possibly one of the only things that Sean Bean has done, that he’s been good in.

Have you read the books ?
