TV Series

I never quite understood the appeal of this show ? I remember seeing it on TV once and having aneurysm over the bizarre way the characters all talk to each other. It's rated highly though but the 30 minutes or so I watched left me wanting to chuck bricks at every single character.

It's great. Easy watching, a few good characters, good pop culture references. Me and gf watch it for 20mins or so before we go to sleep most nights. It's nice way to end the day. It's a bit like a daytime version of Twin Peaks, all weird small town quirks. Even Kim Gordon and Thurston Moore have been in an episode.

Although the final season, which I am currently on, is dragging a bit.

Evening Sam.

Now that Game Of Thrones has ended I'm jumping into The Sopranos.

After that (which may take a while) I'm thinking of either starting the Luther boxset or The Wire.

Anyone seen either? Any good?
I could never quite get into the Sopranos, tried twice but it felt really dated to me, I should have watched it when it was first out.

Luther is good but gets a bit far fetched at times.

The wire is great despite its age, although I thought season 4 was a bit weak. Sheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet.

looking for a new series to watch … got Netflix and sky..

done all the obvious ones...

when is gommarah 4 out ?? want to watch it properly though, not on a dodgy stream.

is black mirror worth a go??

im not normally a fan of sci fi stuff, but enjoyed game of thrones...

Yes. When it’s good it’s as good as anything thats been on TV but you do get odd dud episode... the first two seasons were quite low budget but then Netlifx bought the rights to it and pumped tons of money into the third and fourth seasons.

It’s an anthology show so each episode is it’s own separate story, no real need to watch anything in order... I often suggest people start with season 3 as it’s more “accessible”... the first episode of season one is super bleak and can put people off the show which is a shame as episodes tend to vary massively in terms of style.

Gomorrah season 4 is out June 19th on Sky Atlantic btw.

I've just turned it off. What the hell is even episode one series one... Utterly shocking
