TV Series

Hi the lads, just finished binge watching Brooklyn 99, which is superb if people havent watched it, then done The Punisher Season 2 in, which has LOTS of ultra violence and its everything you expect from The Punisher, I enjoyed it, but I do like the Jon fella who plays the lead, so its probably not for everyone.

Anyway, my question is this.

Sunny in Philly and Arrested Development are on Netflix, so they are my preferred choices, but im also pondering Parks and Rec, plus maybe Community.

If somebody has seen all these, which would they suggest??

Im 2 episodes in Arrested so far and its ok, not amazing.

Just started series 2 of The Punisher, gonna watch 4th episode and hopefully a couple more tonight, I just enjoy the mindless violence.

Saw a few episodes of Parks and Rec after good reviews from quite a few people but just couldn't get into it. Have you seen Ozark? That's on Netflix and definitely worth a watch.

Yeah fam, watched Ozark.

Only just realised your post was about 3 weeks old, tit. Contemplating Luke Cage second series but feel like I only finished the first one because I'd got quite a way through it, it's not that great.

Its horrific.

I watched it all, if like me you just wanted something to pass the time its ok, but instantly forgettable.

Yep pretty much the same, don't think I'll bother with the second series. 13 Reasons Why was alright if you can put up with a fair amount of American teen angst, not arsed about Stranger Things so won't bother with second series of that either. Thinking Better Call Saul might be the way forward after I finish The Punisher.

I found Better Call Saul a bit hit and miss, I mean theres a few peeps from Breaking Bad, but its not the same at all.

Its decent, not amazing IMO.

But its vastly better than Luke Cage season 2.

Not a chance in watching 13 reasons after both my daughters and the missus suggested it.

I've toyed with re-watching Breaking Bad but I get bored watching things twice. I was part way through Gomorrah and enjoying that so need to get back into that at some point as well. I'm all about the murders.

I'm ashamed to say I watched the whole thing in one day finishing at about 3.30 in the morning. Not my proudest moment but I thought it was good and THAT scene is one of the gnarliest scenes I've seen in a TV series. Couldn't be arsed with the 2nd series though.

Yeah it's weird cos I enjoyed it but weirdly hated it at the same time, yet watched all of it within 3 days. I think there's a battle going on with my inner teenage self.
