TV Series

Hi the lads, just finished binge watching Brooklyn 99, which is superb if people havent watched it, then done The Punisher Season 2 in, which has LOTS of ultra violence and its everything you expect from The Punisher, I enjoyed it, but I do like the Jon fella who plays the lead, so its probably not for everyone.

Anyway, my question is this.

Sunny in Philly and Arrested Development are on Netflix, so they are my preferred choices, but im also pondering Parks and Rec, plus maybe Community.

If somebody has seen all these, which would they suggest??

Im 2 episodes in Arrested so far and its ok, not amazing.

Always sunny in Philadelphia is superb, the first 4 episodes iirc centre on Cancer, Abortion, Nazism and Racism in the most dark humour you can imagine. It's absolutely ace.

Seen all four.

Don't rate Community at all, just couldn't get into it.

Parks and Rec is the most easy-watching, like a less funny US Office. Solid 7/10.

Arrested Development first three seasons are fantastic tv, if you can stick with it. Buster is one of the best characters in any sitcom ever I think.

Sunny is good but there's a lot of episodes now. Only really gets good once Danny DeVito joins as well. I think it peaks around season 7.

I couldn't stick with Parks and Rec or Community but Arrested Development and Always Sunny are brilliant.

Always Sunny is the best of the 4 though, never dips below a 7/10 and the golden run in the middle seasons is about as good as comedy gets. Probably my favourite sitcom of all time just trumping Peep Show.

As for Arrested Development, as the others have said, the first 3 seasons are brilliant but I wouldn't bother with the most recent one.

Community is great for the first 3 seasons but then gets mediocre in season 4. After s4 I couldn't really get back into it but I know that a lot of people like the seasons after it.

Arrested Development.

Gonna watch that Netflix Ted Bundy series tomorrow. Seen the trailer for the film with Zac Efron; seems quite a bizarre and distasteful trailer but I can kind of see why with the angle the film is shot from.

I highly recommend Curb Your Enthusiasm
