We've had The 100 starting over here, which is a bit Hunger Games meets Lord of the Flies with a dash of Dawson's Creek. Kind of good-looking teen sci-fi drama but apparently gets darker as it goes on.

The Strain is starting tonight which looks interesting. Guillermo del Toro developed it:

I liked the strain keep hoping a second season starts soon. Got bored of the 100 during its second season.

Just finished watching strike back which whilst predictable was OK. Also just finished watching orange is the new black season 1 which ended well and has kept me interested to look out for season 2 on the cheap.

Will try and watch the last 3 seasons of califorincation sometime over the next fortnight hopefully.

If you have Netflix, try 'Bloodline'. Really, really good, and mainstream enough to be appealing to the women (who don't usually dig blood guts and violence).

Also, Orange Is The New Black is simply amazing.

The Strain - first episode at least - was OK. Just realised the main character played the congressman in House of Cards.

Yep, First 3 were weak, but I would say it ended on a par with the other 2 series. Amazing scriptwriting, few programmes are able to make you feel real shock, and then be laughing hard, in the space of an episode.
