Tom baker was the dr who in my book
But I guess it's an age thing.
Oh I stopped watching after the last doctor .
Bradley Walsh might just save this one.

Those weeping angel things though .
I'm 54 and my god they're scary

It's not an age thing with me as my formative Dr Who was the perm-haired one and Sylvester McCoy back in the late-80's. Then I watched the rebooted Chris Eccles and David Tennants but it was Matt Smith who really wowed me in the role. Was the least I was expecting too as from the stills he looked like an emo boy.

Tom Baker I agree is very good, tho' i've only seen a couple of his stories: Genesis of the Daleks and Talons of Weng Chian. Dated but entertaining stuff. The best old-Who story might even be the very first episode where they all faint...very Twilight-Zone (which was airing at the same time back in 1963).

Black Mirror S1 E2, the one with cycling to earn credits & the X-Factor style judges. Very thought-provoking stuff, and what a performance from Daniel Kaluuya: i recognised him from the Get Out dvd cover which we haven't watched yet, so looking forward to that a little more now.

another strong 8/10, maybe inching to a 9/10 due to a well-handled ending.

Informer > BBC 1 last night.

I had high hopes for this, with Paddy Consindine being the lead, as he normally only does quality stuff.

However it almost seemed like a competition, to see how many cliches and hackneyed stereotypes you could cram into one programme.
