TV Series

I LOVE The Wire but season 3 onwards it's goes downhill whereas BB is a masterpiece from season 2 onwards. It has everything, jokes, callbacks, plot twists, fully foundered characters and breakfast.

BB is the greatest TV series in the last 20 years.

BB not even in the top 10 imo, it's good fun but that's it. It's very what you see is what you get and the finale epitomised that.

Meh, its more accessible and an easier watch but it's ultimately a ridiculously far fetched show. It's still massively entertaining and probably in my top 10 shows ever but The Wire just has so much more going on in it, it's way deeper, the acting is far more consistent throughout etc

I was never entirely convinced by Walter Whites transformation from a teacher to drug lord, I bought into for the sake of entertainment but it was pretty ridiculous looking back at it.

Did you even watch Season 2? It's so boring. Christ they had 3 episodes about who will by the church a window!

Nah The Wire is excellent but the sheer scale of BB is unreal. The whole teacher become a dealer isn't the premise, it how a cog in a machine evolves through desperation, guilt, fear, greed and to drive his ego.

He is Scarface with periodic table.

Flash season four, excellent series with a really good take on the villain of the season. I'm glad they changed the tone to be a bit lighter this year as the dark gritty feel of season three didn't work well for this show imo. The addition of Ralph Dibny was a really good move in both a storytelling aspect and for the tone. I do feel a bit sorry for the actress who plays Iris West however, because the writers have made her character incredibly annoying this season and they seemingly have nothing for the actor who plays Wally West to do at all. Otherwise very good and the premise for next season looks brilliant.
