One to look out for on Sky Atlantic :

The Deuce - co written by David Simon, who wrote the Wire.

Set in New York in the 70`s, evolves around the seedy underbelly of Hells Kitchen / Times Square - the bars, the pimps, the hookers, the cops etc.

It`s not as good as the Wire,there`s not many things that are, but it`s still very good, well acted, great setting etc.

I’ve been on this from the start . It’s brilliant. Great cast too .

I'd say yes. It's got a nice dark humour to it and the two main leads are really good. As are the supporting cast. And as Eggs mentioned the woman that plays the assassin is a scouser. And she's a Blue and her dad has worked for Everton since the mid-90's. That's surely got to be worth something...

...ah, I wondered if it was his daughter because of the unusual surname. Her Dad was a decent player in his own right.

I can’t believe we have to wait until next year again! Better Call Saul is the ultimate example of a showman leaving his audience wanting more. Every time!
