God, I love Twin Peaks but this series is seriously testing my patience

Im enjoying twin peaks, but Lynch is pushing the limits of my patience at times. That Dougie stuff was starting to grate to say the least.
There have been some truly memorable scenes though, the box scene in the opening episode was classic. The segment from last nights episode with the flashback to 1945... visually amazing.
I sometimes wonder what Lynch would be like if he dialled back the crazy just a little bit. I think he nailed it with Mullholland Drive, it more or less all came together and made sense. Im hoping that's going to be the case with Twin Peaks...

Doctor Who should be a cracker this coming weekend. Capaldi's last episode and the appearance of the new Doctor (probably Kris Marshall).

The first two episodes of Season five of Ripper St have been superb.
I thought it'd struggle without Jerome Flynn, but bringing back Det Ch Insp Shine was a master stroke.

Is that real, that we see the 'new' doctor this episode? I thought a xmas special, with Capaldi in, had already been filmed and that's when we find out who his replacement is?
If it's Kris Marshall, then I could imagine it being a bit like Matt Smith's version. Much like I thought Capaldi's was reminiscent of Tom Baker, don't know why just did.

Gemma Arterton - gorgeous and a wonderful actor.
Fun fact - Capaldi's was the best cafe, by my school, to go to at lunchtimes. Had this great 3D tank commander game (Can't remember what it was called, it might've been 3D tank commander! The 3D was lines that made it seemed in perspective!).

Got through two short enough series last couple of weeks, Guerrilla and The Night Of, both pretty compelling where you just had to watch the next episode. Decent shows with impressive acting in both.

something i have to sit through most nights unfortunately. few men and women in a villa in majorca not doing a whole pile except there nails and hair and that is just the men.supposed to be like looking for love but some loada nonsense.few sexy women alright but that is about it.
