TV Series

@mixed_up

Just finished Startup started with great potential should have been called Mixup it went dire all over the place will not be watching the next series very disappointed with all aspects of it went so wrong IMO - it had great ratings, but crass IMO!
Martin Freemans charcter actually spoilt it - he's usually in good things too!

im 7 episodes through 'the blacklist' ... not normally my bag, but have found it quite good viewing
have the first 2 seasons watched and i really enjoyed it.woman wanted to watch it but i kept putting her off because like you didn't think it was my cup of tea but few episodes in and i was hooked.have season 3 downloaded so must get around to that and i'm fairly sure there is a 4th season out.

The second series of - Missing, on BBC 1 has / is superb. If anyone hasn't watched it, I'd highly recommend it on catchup.
I've enjoyed watching it also, even if the underlying premise is utterly ludicrous.

haven't seen the latest episode, so this might be moot, but i don't care if she's been away for 11 years, I'm quite sure a French girl would still have a definable French accent. There's not a chance in hell you'd not notice an imposter, no matter how much you wanted to believe it was them.

Closer to the Enemy, written and directed by Stephen Poliakoff.
A classy intriguing drama set in London in 1946. A captain Feguson is given 6 days to persuade an abducted German jet rocket engineer (with his young daughter) to work for the British. With a sub plot of a women investigator from the War Crimes Unit, several shady characters from the intelligence services, glamorous women, all in the background of a blitz destroyed London, it looks like cracking telly. Also some scenes were filmed in Liverpool.

It's been very predictable, haven't seen this episode but I predicted every thing so far on the second episode.

They explain every scene too, nothing left to interpretation and that is really doing my head in.
