….Southland (Netflix) is a decent gap filler if stuck for something to watch. US Police series but fast moving with a number of scenarios/plots.
Really enjoying this... having Lucy Liu in it from series 3 helps but decent enough….Southland (Netflix) is a decent gap filler if stuck for something to watch. US Police series but fast moving with a number of scenarios/plots.
Is that the one in Ireland mate.Watching Kin after struggling to get into it the first go round.
It's alright but it just makes me wish they would do a new series of Love/Hate

Love / Hate is much less polished and all the better for it.
Plus, even with Brendan running riot in Kin, nothing comes close to King Nidge in Love / Hate.
Where as Brendan was always a monster in Kin, it`s the way Nidge`s character slowly descends into the monster he becomes in Love / Hate, that makes the King Nidge character so good.
If Brendan is the brother that comes out of prison I think the casting is terrible. Not even slightly convincing as that kind of scumbag
Enjoyable and watchable overall but let down mainly by that I think
He’s the older brother / uncle who comes out of prison.
I thought his character was a bit OTT, but I have mates in Dublin, who said that there are men like just like that in some of the rougher parts of Dublin !
