I must say I liked the first two seasons.
I don’t know if there is a third season or not.

Memory of "ARMSTRONG" on Amazon I'd great veiw8ng so far @Swartzy
Great series..Onto season 3 of Animal Kingdom, a little far fetched at times but i'm still enjoying it.
Agree, typical overblown and overhyped BBC sh1t3 like Doctor Who, some critics hailing this as one of the funniest things ever and a 'British classic' is absurd, don't think I laughed once . It's not terrible and it passed the time but Paul Kay sadly underused as he is the one with greatest comic potential.Thought it was poor, tbh.
I loved the Detectorists and expected a lot from this but Pearce Quigly couldn't carry it off and the peripheral characters (like that irritating fool next door) were low quality.
About the only one who got out with credibility was Michael Palin who was very good.
Great series..

Yes, absolutely terrible they were. Paul Kay's cameo in a Gervais series on Netflix as a Therapist was also hilarious, he should have been utilized a lot more in this, it was all a bit twee and bland.Mike Strutter is one of the most hilarious character's ever produced.
Small Prophets: Palin was good. That's about it.
By the way, I always thought Quigley's character in The Detectorists was one of the weakest in the series. And he defo wasnt up to carrying this show off as the lead.
His sidekick girl was rubbish and the characters like the DIY shop security guard and the nosy feller next door were some of the worst and badly acted characters I've seen in a long time.
It'll get an underserving second series, but Mackenzie Crook should avoid doing it. He's much better than this.
