Watched the first three episodes of, The Night Of, yesterday, which I believe is starting on Sky Atlantic tomorrow (?).

Starting on Thursday, apparently, thanks for the info.

I notice that Sky Atlantic have a series of Westworld starting in October (no Yul Bryner but it does have Anthony Hopkins). Might give that a watch too..........

Watched the first three episodes of, The Night Of, yesterday, which I believe is starting on Sky Atlantic tomorrow (?).

Eight part murder mystery that sees Naz accidentally pick up a stunner (he's a college student who's borrowed his dad's taxi to go to a party, gets lost and she gets in the cab). They go back to her place where they drink, take drugs and have sex.

He wakes up hours later only to find her repeatedly stabbed to death. He panics, does a runner, taking the murder weapon with him but is picked up for drunk driving and then, eventually, linked to the murder, once he's searched and the cops find the knife.

His 'ambulance chasing' lawyer sets about trying to prove he's innocent. Is he? Who knows?

Excellent viewing thus far, going to try and do the five remaining episodes tonight.

James Gandolifini is listed as an Exec Producer, if anyone here is interested in that sort of stuff.

Finished first series of Ballers last night. Not a fan of The Rock or American footy but it was ok. Gonna give that Stranger Things a go next after reading recommendations on here.

Seen the entire season of The Night Of - excellent HBO at its best. Story telling at its very best up there with Stranger Things

Huge fan of Ballers here. Love that it's only 30 minutes per episode too. Second series is good but pretty similar I'd have to admit.

Couldn't be arsed with the second series at all after two episodes, will probably wait til the end then watch the entire season at once
