Stranger Things. Eight hour Spielberg movie, with hints of Stephen King set in the 80s. Really we'll done.

I'm up to ep7, and I'd absolutely agree here. It's basically one long film carved into 8 pieces, which makes it nice and easy to follow and stay hooked on. Love the 80s grainy film effect, makes it very authentic.

I've just watched the brand new episode of Porridge (on Iplayer)

I imagined I'd hate it but, to be fair, it wasn't too bad if viewed as a stand alone new comedy.

Shamelessly rehashed one or two gags from the original but just about gets away with it.

Not a patch on the original, obviously, but not the abortion I was envisaging.
