TV Series

They just can't leave well alone, can they?

I mean, most of them they're redoing were cack first time round, but to get some talentless nobodies to make even bigger arses of themselves trying to recreate the magic of Fletcher, Godber, Grouty, Barrowclough, Mackay et al....

I mean, WHY?

Lucky they're not doing The Young ones, or I'd put my own personal fatwah on the infidels.
I mean the porridge one is really gunner push me over , I know I shouldn't but I can see one of the children going through the window here!

Anyways, watched the first two episodes of 'Stranger Things' last night. Promising. Will watch a couple more tonight.

Took me a while to click on Winona Ryder...Still remembered her as a youngster.

I cannot stand him. Him, that Eddie Marsan, and some other crap actor whose name escapes me, but he looks like a right gawp and usually plays one.

Meh.
I expect your third one is Danny Mays, and you're utterly wrong on all three counts. They're arguably the three best male actors this country has to offer right now. You can stick your Cumberbatch and Hiddlestone up your arse.

Well, I watched abar 5 mins of 'Are you being served' (Through the one eye as I was quite 'refreshed')

Typical 21st century garbage. Of course, John Inman's character had been made tamer and far less camp; and there was the obligatory black man who just had to be the epitome of cool, chasing after the white, blonde, bimbo.

And 'boycey' from 'fools & horses' (Another that became tedious) agreeing to appear in that tripe.

God, but you must be hard-up.

Overall, about as amusing as a death at a birthday party. Five minutes I could've spent being stuck in traffic.

Needless to say, I didn't bother with the Porridge rehash....

You're absolutely right, by the way - did the 'gawp' bit give it away, perchance? Bet it did, the gormless, talentless gawp.

If it wasn't, the the 'crap actor' must've been.

Best this country has to offer? My, you're easily pleased. :coffee:

Love Ray Donovan at the minute. Well written, great actors, keeps you guessing... gutted this season is nearly over.

Watching Power too, abit far fetched but decent also.
