I've not been a big fan of Ricky Gervais but over the last couple of weeks I watched Afterlife.
What a brilliant piece of TV.
I'm sitting here in bits just after finishing the last two episodes. Had me in pleats laughing one moment and wiping the tears away the next.
Definitely rode the roller-coaster of my emotions and see Gervais in a more favourable light from now on.

Worth sticking with mate. I had a few breaks from it but was glad I saw it through, felt like I'd accomplished something!

The earlier seasons are brilliant but that has to be one of the worst endings in TV history, they butchered the last season.

At it's peak it was a cultural phenomenon, people naming their kids and pets after characters. Once the last season aired it became almost irrelevant over night.
