I much preferred the MK1 full figured, shoplifting Jennifer, to the MK2, thinner, sci-fi brain busting Jennifer.

Ahhhh, you're ok to watch it. The 'twist' is shown in episode 2, then the story develops after that point. It's also revealed very early in the book as well.
