TV Series

Knuckles TV series is boss
Seen a lot of mixed reviews, with the mainly negative ones pointing out the fact that the titular character seems to dip in and out of it a lot. Probably due to the budget I'd imagine lol

As a Sonic fan I'd been looking forward to it. Now, admittedly, I've cooled on it somewhat.

I try to watch TV with my Daughter when I can as lets face it shopping just isn't going to work for me. She wanted to watch the new series of Doctor Who last night. Now I'm a previous Dr Who fan but lost interest a good bit when Whittaker took over the role.

Holy Tooth and flowerpot! Possibly the most woke pile of stinking turd I've ever had to see. Of course, she liked it. Though I did laugh at the Space Babies talking.

Even without the MESSAGE, it's just so noisy and crass.

Luckily I have a good selection of DVD's, Hartnell to Baker to fall back on.

Watched the first 2 episodes of Dark Matter last night.

The book is excellent so had high hopes for this. They’ve changed a couple of small things for the TV adaptation, but so far it’s pretty much on the money.

Probably helps having the original author, Blake Crouch writing the screenplay as well.
He also has a little cameo as the ginger bearded bar tender in the Village Tap bar.

The gathering tonight on channel4 mate nine o'clock.

I finished it and don't know if I liked it or not. I wouldn't recommend it, for sure. I also had no sympathy for the guy. He brought a lot of it upon himself.
Late to the party but exactly the same here.

The lads a knobhead, she's a crank. Hard to sympathise with either of the main characters.

I can't believe the praise it received, I guess from art students and beard stroking intellectuals.

I'm quite annoyed I stuck with it for all 7 episodes.

1 Bambis out of 10.

(For when she smashed the glass on his head and gouged him. Didn't expect that eruption)

I think we need wait until @chrismpw has given his expert opinion, before labelling the new Dr Who as the nemesis of white straight men.

Haven't seen the new series. Didn't watch Whittaker either - not because it was a woman, but because of the horrendous misandry and lecturing in the first season - plus the horrendous acting (Dr Who shouldn't be a mouthbreather).

I've no issues with Dr Who being gay, if that's what the beeb have decided this week - but I just want it to be story centred, rather than a lecture about how the script writers want us to think, if I'm to try it again. Having said that, there is very little I watch on free to air TV these days - the bbc is just so 1 note.

My biggest issue with Dr Who is - if the tardis is so enormous inside, with, presumably lots of storage - why does the Dr wear the same outfit every week?
