Currently watching The Tattooist of Auschwitz. Very harrowing of course. Minor production comment: It’s odd how the main character has an English accent as a young man, but an Eastern European accent as an old man.

Apparently there's a season 2 of Shogun coming, according to Deadline. I don't trust modern writers to follow this one up without source material (book) to base it on, no matter how strongly I crave more from this universe.

I also cannot see a second season delivering the same quality without a couple of the standout characters who died in the first one.

It's based on a fictional book mate; although borrows loosely from a lot of historical fact.

So on a whim, I did a google search...

97 years old and Mel is still gong like a mensch!

He decided to release it as a series and not a movie.

Just got through the first episode and I safety say that Mel's still got it!
