Just finished second series of Peaky Blinders. It’s alright but don’t see the massive hype about it if I’m honest, anybody else feel the same?

Just finished the first series on the recommendation of a friend. OK, but nowhere near the US shows. I'll watch the second series but nowhere near the depth and writing of Sopranos, The Wire or Ray Donovan.

As someone said, looks like an ad director mixed in the visual stuff from the best of the US series but forgot about the script. Another thread on here prompted me to watch Adriana's final scene on the Sopranos and it's on a different level.

if you havent watched sons of anarchy then i think you will love it.

it gets real real real deeep! its on a par with soprano's, and from the same writers
