TV Series

Each to, their own ......
It's the bones Joey. Forgive being off topic mods, but I was scarred for life by being force fed fish on Fridays for school dinners.
I'm convinced what was in those bins that they served from was something akin the cartoon depiction of fish after a moggy has ate it. In other words, a head then a skeleton of spine and rib bones then the tail.
Served with rock hard spuds and peas like bullets. Every mouthful contained a thousand bones, an awful experience. Oh, and if you didn't finish it, you got a clout across the back of your head off the head dinner lady.

Love that fishing series though - make no bone about it - its great ......

Sense8, Netflix, two seasons
8 people become psychically connected and can 'visit' each other and take over their bodies. A really interesting concept that starts as a mystery and eventually becomes more of an action series. It can be really cool at times because each of the 8 has their own unique skills and as some characters face unique challenges, the others take over to help. But it's also very cheesy at times, with a high level of 'stormtrooper aim' going on laterly.
There's also a strangely high amount of focus on sex and sexuality. Some of the directors/writers were definitely using it to project their values.

Overall its a fun show with some great moments and some bleh moments, and its nice to have a netflix show that is actually concluded rather than cancelled.

The Defeated - Netflix.

Anglo German 8 parter, set in the ruins of West Berlin 1946.

An American detective is sent to help the West German police force in Berlin reorganise themselves post World War 2.

Serial killers are at large, along with interference from the Russians at every angle and endemic corruption.

Despite a cracking cast and amazing sets, it falls a bit flat, due the fact that the main plot, becomes muddled up with sub plots.

The always excellent Logan Marshal Green, steals the show as an American solider gone rogue, hunting hiding Nazis with extreme prejudice.

Still worth a watch though.

Not really sure what to make of Clickbait. 4 eps in and whilst it isn't exceptional in terms of production, acting etc. it's at least intriguing enough to stick with for now.

Finished season one of Hit & Run over the weekend. Bit of a slow burner, but was generally okay.
