The rain, it raineth every day
Swamped with a deluge. Most are dreadful. A preponderance of sitcoms, factoid, 'real life drama's, crime and detective shows. Only a very few are worth watching.

Series 2 of Gotham has been very good so far.
Love the sets and it's well cast, with no A listers.
Wills Smiths missus is the only thing that ruins it for me.

Just belatedly finished S1 Boardwalk Empire, does the standard keep up in the others

It sure does brilliant the very last series runs only okish the rest is just brilliant

Ive binned it after two episodes - its weak it as if they have just got back to get the money imo!

No, it dips at 1 point, very sharply, it does rise again tho, well worth the watch IMO.
Its decent, not nerdy, just a bit mind fcky.

Most critics have just reviewed the first episode. Which was a bit meh; Chris Carter clearly struggling to tame 15 years worth of ideas.
Episode 2 was classic stuff though and episode 3 was really entertaining. Written by the writer of some of the series' best outings (Darin Morgan, who did the Clyde Bruckman and Jose Chung eps).
Unlike the awful 2008 film, the new series has not disappointed this fan.

Really enjoying it. I saw the reviews and thought the worst but it's very good.
I loved it, I thought the 'reveal' was handled brilliantly and it's quite easy to follow the technical stuff.

It's a shame so many reviews have only reviewed the first episode. Do different reviewers get a different number of episodes to review or something, as I saw reviews weeks ago that had had access to 3-6 of the 6 episodes.
Anyway, not arsed what anyone else says, just didn't want to be personally disappointed. And I am not thus far. "Mulder and Scully vs the Were-Man" with Murray from Flight of the Conchords... I couldn't ask for more.
