Sheffield Wednesday have agreed a deal to sign Everton goalkeeper Iain Turner.

Turner is expected to travel to Yorkshire on Friday morning to meet Owls boss Brian Laws and he is expected to sign a month-long arrangement.

The young Scot is down the pecking order at Everton and Moyes is willing to loan him out, to help his development.

Earlier in the season, Turner spent a month on loan at Crystal Palace earlier this season and he impressed during his time in the capital.

Owls boss Brian Laws is expected to throw Turner straight into his squad for this weekend's game with Southend.

This will be Turner's 5th spell away from Everton since joining, he has had loan periods at Chester City, Doncaster Rovers, Wycombe Wanderers and, Crystal Palace.

Wednesday boss Brian Laws said: "We are pleased to have signed Iain Turner on loan from Everton. He has played regularly for Scotland's under 21s and therefore comes to us with a degree of pedigree."
