Might be out of topic but.. I really want to visit Liverpool this winter but I don't know if its safe to visit because of the news I heard about the UK. Is it safe to go as a tourist during that time?

As an American who has never been to Europe.

I always feel like i have to see France, Spain, England, Italy.

but other then that what are some underrated European countries for a 1-2 day stay?

All of Europe is good, Western Europe is expensive particularly the cities. If you want a city trip that's cheaper, then Budapest or Prague would be good. Warsaw is nice too but doesn't have the charm. I'm less familiar with southern Poland, but Krakow is a good visit.

Don't get to Eastern Europe that much but have loved all of my trips there
