Moyes - £70k
Neville - £50k
Mucha - £15k

280K of that could have been clawed back, if he'd been chased for it, for becoming United's future new manager in March.

you'd think he could have had a good look through fellainis release clause at the same time...

in fact...him saying he 'knows exactly how everton work' surely theres some kind of law thats been broken here?!

You'll now be asked by someone to tell Interpol.

Sorry snarky but unless you can give us a link to where figures are from I would say do the Maths again.

I would suggest only Martinez and Lukaku because he is from Chelsea are near to the mark!

This is coupled with the fact that you have not factored any loose change we will have had from the tv money and the Fer money? But you have stimulated a few replies so I will give you that.......

Why would he factor in the Fer money? He's tried to give a breakdown of transfer activity we actually carried out. We didn't sign Fer?

You would factor in the Fer money because supposedly it was their to be spent, was not spent and therefore should still be available and that basically is why it should be factored in!!!!!!!!!

If you save for a household item and don't buy it and do not spend the money but a few months later decide to buy another household item you can use the money you had?

It's just a different commodity as long as the supposed money has not been used for other running cost?

Any business would keep its money in different pots to use for specific things its called budgeting....

The Fer deal was to be paid over the term of his contract, and it never went through when we wanted to pay a smaller amount up front.

As for McCarthy, we can ascertain from what Whelan was saying to anyone that would listen, we had tried to pay the transfer amount over 4 years. Similar to the Felli deal we done with Leige. So, the next few years we will have a 4 million chunk to pay to Wigan for McCarthy.

Does anyone have the full break-down of our transfer activity? From what I can gather the following happened, I may be completely wrong though if anyone can shed some light:

Fellaini - fee £27.5m. (Not sure about what was paid upfront and how long the repayment period is. Also I've heard that Fellaini gave up his loyalty bonus by handing in transfer request - which is worth £3-4m)

Anichebe - £6m. £2.5m now and £2.5m next year and other £1m based on performance.

McCarthy - £13m (Judging by Whelan's comments and the timing, I suspect they may have accepted £13m over 3 years instead of 4. £4.3m per season)

Lukaku - £3m loan fee plus 100% of his £45k a week wages.

Barry - no loan fee but 80% of his £120k a week wages.

Deulofeu - if he plays 50% of games there will be no loan fee, which is very likely.

Kone - £6.5m

Robles - £2m

Alcarez - Free

Total Paid £24.5m
Total Received £33.5m
Profit £10m

For us to pay Barry that makes about as much sense as a layer of onions in a trifle.
