All the angst is rubbish really:

AVDM
Jacobson
Castillo
Lescott out.

Jo
Billy
Distin
Heitinga

The above four with the exception of Lescott didnt get anywhere near our first team last season (in fact im pretty sure Distin equalled AVDM appearence record last season). Did the above bar Lescott even make 12 appearences between them.

Better squad end of. Isnt that the point of the window.

*Heard it all now apparently we dont have a centre midfiled!

Something most people forget are the young lads too. Gosling and Rodwell will both be contributing much more this season. Will any of the other youngsters push their way into the first team this year?

Like who?

I don't know, mate, I'm not paid £65k a week to keep abreast of things. Perhaps Defour, Benga, Moutinho, Bentley or anyone that can create? At the moment the midfield is made up of a mix of workmen and talent. I'll be glad to get Arteta back to be honest.

Players only count mate if you pay for them.

I fancy Baxter myself sweet little turn to get two yards for himself against Sigma.

Don't forget that last year we crashed out the Carling and Uefa cups early leaving just the cup run and League to play in.

Taking into account the 2 Uefa and 7 FA cup and 1 carling thats 48 games we played last year.

We are going to off played 50 at the very least this season even if we crash out of the Europa at the group phase and both domestic cups first game.

But if we do well in any cup which we all hope we do its gonna effect us.

Won't we all, Nebs?

But on the other hand, look at the year before. We were sitting pretty in the top four and tearing our way through the cups.

We only fell apart once we lost to Fiorentina and Chelsea.

Winning is its own tonic, in some respects.

Well taken. Swapping the 4 that came in for the 4 that went out is a vast improvement in the side. Moyes now has options - something he didn't have last season.

Three strikers to play with (Saha, Jo and Yak when fully fit)
Interchangeable wingers (Peanuts & Russian Billy)
Defensive options - Heitinga can play them all including CB and we'll all agree that Baines - Jags/Yobo - Distin - Heitinga is an upgrade in sum.

Moyes has to figure out how to use Cahill and Fellaini interchangeably since they don't seem to work well in tandem.

CM did not get addressed but hoping Rodwell can fill the gap in the interim.

All of this pooh-pooh wears me out. The side is thin on depth (a concern, I admit) but the starting 11 could be stellar.

Cracking me up. Some people on other sites seem to think they will wake up tomorrow and find Defour in their Everton stockings a la Fellaini last year.
Not this time!

I'm reasonably happy with what we've done, and at one point this summer this is more than i dreamt we'd ever have so shouldn't complain too much!

Just wish we'd got one more midfielder who can pick a pass.

...Im happy with the players that came in, their off good quality. But it's not enough!! Look what happend last season with injurys. It could happen again but worse....

Oh yeah, we snapped the 5-th spot head of AV and lost the FA-cup final against Chelsea. Can´t say I think that´s too bad.

I´m pleased, but i agree, another winger / CM would have done it.

And again, there is up to the clubs if they want to sell, and up to the players if they like to come. Since we don´t know what has happened behind the scenes, i aint the one to judge the board. I am 100 % sure that Banega liked to come, but in this case Valencia said no. Same with VDV, what do you choose, Everton or RM? When thay say i trust in you, well.... And how many other PM is there to choose from, that actually would have fitted in as well? I can only think of Huddlestone right now.

Without doubt, in the last few weeks moyes would have gave kenwrong a list of about 14 players. He would have had prioritys but....

Kenwrong is able to get 3!!! Yes thats it. When we clearly needed at least 6-7 players.

He's a fukking nob-jocky him an ecclescake need fukking off.

To compete at the top level in all leagues an cups, you need real strengh in depth!!

We dont have that!!

Top 5 again and Cup Final.

[Poor language removed] that one.
