Not happy everytime its the same old story

Not happy that we seemed to learn fuc* all from last seasons fiasco.
Yet again we left it until the last days and hours to sign players, That we should have had in before pre season.
Happy enough in the end with what we brought in, but i would have preferred another central midfielder, and a quality right back.
Could have been far worse though, as i doubted Heitinga was going to come.

because it was the last days, we got heitinga for a dream price. sometimes the pressure of the clock works to our advantage.

not only is the glass half full, but it is filled with tasty cold beverage!

We have David Moyes
We will win a bunch of games and humiliate our over-spending peers yet again.

No point in having an anurism over it, Everton Football Club will do just fine this year.

chuffed we got dutchie today last thing as usual but bit worried we didnt get banega (why did we get a work permit for a player we didnt have yet!!) or some other quality creative mid-fielder.
i know Arteta is coming back but we ccant hit the pause button till then

Because they were given encouragement that a deal would happen. They got the WP first instead of getting the player and losing out on the WP. I also reckon they were expecting Valencia to push it to the last day, and that way they wouldn't have to waste time applying for a WP. As it happens it seems that Valencia have done what they have done with all their players and retain them without the promise of being paid.

Ask yourself why the best pound for pound goalscorer in Spain is at a club that struggles to make ends meet?

Here we have sold big players at the time with future - Ball and Jeffers. And we signed an aging hair model, a guy at the end of his career, 2 swedes who offered nothing at all, a ******** and stubbs - who to be fair was a good buy.

This summer we have sold a ******** for way over the odds, we have released players who are not good enough for the team and are a drain on resources, and we have brought in a solid experienced defender who can play in 2 positions, a 50 cap International who can play in 3 positions, a very promising Russian who can operate anywhere in the midfield bar DM.

Of course another midfielder would have been nice, but Arteta is due back to step up his match fitness regime next week.

like everyone else I tought we would atleast brought another player with "all the money" we have, would have love another creative CM but all in all I'm very happy with the squad.

If anything I feel the squad is stronger, Billy will solve our right wing problem, even if it means Pienaar moving to the right to make room for Billy in the left, although I think they'll swap wings throughout the game. We have, arguably, strengthened the defense by replacing Lescott, with Distin and Heitinga, Distin been a little bit more steady on the back than lescott, and Heitinga definitely a big improvement over hibbert and he can also play CB and def mid, so I'm really happy with the signings.

with Banega i thought all along that Valencia were looking for cash rather then a loan deal but also thought Moyes would try and wait them out to get the loan threw.really expected us to front up the cash today if we realised the load defo was not coming...there was money there we know that
thats my biggest disappointment mate...we're in the same position where injuries could really effect our teams quality

I was angling towards a comment about how poorly run Valencia is. They have a man there who is worth £50m at least, they are in the [Poor language removed] financially. So why are they not selling their assets to sort themselves out?

Because they are pig headed, and are poorly run.
