We've played a grand total of one game this season, yet for some of our 'fans' the apocolypse is already here.

Can we really expect to sign half decent players if this is the way they'll treated? It's unfortunately a problem that has persisted for a long time, with no sign of it abating.

The abuse coming from the stands where I was sitting was ridiculous, luckily was sitting so far back they can't hear it (but saying that I guess it was the same all around). Scousers have a passion for the club/football that make it special and that should never be taken away but I just wish the aggression could be tempered. I hope none of our fans put the abuse online but those sorts probably would.

We were 20 odd minutes into a brand new season ffs and it starts.

Said elsewhere, we claim to have a terrific fanbase, it's a fantasy.

We really don't. We show up, home and away and moan non-stop.

I'm not sure it has a negative impact on the result, but it 100% doesn't help.

Unfortunately a small percentage of that following, although they are 'fans' (fanatics) they are not necessarily 'supporters'
