Pissing me off this constant talk about Froome on drugs as though it's some kind of given. Joking is of course to be expected, but when you get those little uneducated bastards who seem to think that sports like football aren't plagued with drugs there is nothing more annoying.

.....give Froome the credit he deserves unless there is evidence to the contrary. The lad appears to be giving it everything and doesn't deserve the suspicion.

They are athletes.

A lot of pressure to succeed it must be psychologically devastating for them not to perform when everyone expects a lot. Drugs are always the shortcut/or downfall.

What do you guys make of this?

From the live feed - "I'm not sure what he wanted, but he's not going to get it now, because his team car isn't allowed to help him out. Ah, Richie Porte gets some gels from the team car and hands them to Froome, who was obviously about to get the "bonk" - that's an illegal re-feed, but a clever one. Presumably it's Porte who'll be punished for it, not Froome, who now has a couple of gels to help him re-energise. There's a technical term for what just went on there. That term is "cheating".

Just wondering?

to be fair he just wants his hair to look good at the line when them birds hand the flowers over, with his ridiculous fod he needs all the hairgel he can get

I appreciate he wants to look his best, but surely a face transplant mid-race isn't feasible?

They should be made to take a drink of something which, if mixed with banned substances, would cause the liver to explode.

Something like nitroglycerine.

I imagine the start line would vaguely resemble the picture below if they did this, obviously on a much larger scale

See Froome released all his power data and Sky have written to WADA to offer all their data. I am sure this won't be enough for the doubters

They all cheat, not just cyclists but the majority of elite athletes are doped up to the eyeballs.

I don't mind it to be honest, I want to see incredible things.
