The evidence is all ther for people who want to look. That is the problem though, people dont want to believe he is a cheat because it is such a great story. Scratch away at the surface a bit and you will see that Armstrong is a nasty piece of work. The evidence against him is staggering really throughout his career I dont know how anyone can claim he never doped. Please dont say he never tested positive because neither did Marion Jones, Jan Ullrich, Bjarne Riis etc etc

Loads of people have came out and said they have seen him do it and now USADA have at least TEN team mates incriminating him, including Hincapie someone Lance called a "brother to him". Incidentally Hincapie never tested positive either.
Also, take a look at Armstrongs "99 test results which he passed. In 2004 a test was finally developed for EPO, "99 samples were tested and Armstrongs samples were chocker with EPO. Armstrongs response? They were tampered with. An incredible accusation, as libellous as it is ridiculous as all the samples were not labelled with names but with numbers.

Glad he has a fall from grace the way he treated the likes of Simeoni and BAssons. He is a bully who has disgustingly used his own cancer to hide behind his cheating. Little ******** has finally got his comeuppance.

A lot of them have had their hand forced because Armstrong was getting investigated by the US Feds. USADA sat in on a lot of evidence and would of used that if Armstrong chose arbitration. Why would someone innocent not want to save their entire careers legacy? His team mates didnt lie to the Feds because if you do, you go to jail, ask Marion Jones.

Exactly, I dont see why people are so attached to the bloke, just because he had cancer and won 7 TdF doesnt make him more honest than vinokourov, Millar etc etc they all did it, and its a well known fact it takes years for testing science (where there are millions of pounds of funding) to catch up with drug science (billions).

It's because you want to believe someone could actually be better than everyone else and do it with pure skill. What if you found out today that Bolt was a cheat? If you found out Ennis was a cheat? Do you know them personally? It reaches much deeper than someone just being a tit. Most people are tits and thrust into the spotlight how would you fare?

Anyway beside the point. How many people, British Cycling team included looked up to Armstrong and got into Cycling because of him? Looked up to what was ultimately a drug cheat? All those little Cancer Kids looking up to and getting better because of him. If you don't care either way it's indicative of how shallow and fake our society has really become.

Nah I understand all that, but you can't just say 'well he's an inspirational figure who helps a lot of people overcome cancer so we'll let him get away with doping', mostly the rules of sport are a black and white area. You break them, you break them. No shades of grey.

However, despite not being a great Armstrong fan, I do think this whole thing is a bit of a witch hunt. IMO while you've got to do him if he is guilty, you've also got to follow the same procedure with every cyclist who ever raced in the same race as him, and that can't possibly happen.

Well, if the USADA are going to weigh in on Cycling, now they need to start tackling the NFL and MLB. Look at Barry Bonds, Mark McGuire and all the records that still stand with them being admitted dopers. You can't pick and choose your fights if you are going to be a regulatory agency. They have to go the whole hog now. I expect to see hundreds of American athletes pursued now.

If not, this is just a hypocritical with-hunt.
