Rode the Gavia and Mortirolo on Sunday. Bloody tough climbs, especially the Mortirolo. Seemed to go on forever. Not sure the Tour has much that compares to that.

Good day for Sky. Quite possible that they could have a couple of minutes on Contador after today. Still can't see Wiggins winning it but it'll do his podium chances no harm, and we could have Thomas in yellow today.

Caught the US delayed version last night in time to watch that massive crash towards the end.
It amazes me how many times a spectator is involved. In this case, an Astana rider couldn't avoid a spectator who was too close to the course with his/her back turned to the rest of the peloton when he hit him/her.
Nothing they can do about this I guess?

Decent day for Sky again today, taking a wee bit more time out of Contador and Schleck, and quite a bit out of Basso et al.

I was wrong, Cav got fifth. And yes he is a bit of a lunatic, I think most pro cyclers are. Cut from a similar cloth to goalkeepers.

S'pose so. Especially sprinters.
HTC seemed to mess that sprint up completely. Nice for Farrar to get the win though after what happened with Wylandt in the Giro.
