4 pts out of spurs and arsenal is almost a minimum if we want CL footy. A season is over 38 games, but yo u know what i mean. We can obviously take 6 but i'd settle for 4
I think we really need to drop this emphasis on Champions League, it will do us as supporters no good because it's highly unlikely to happen, sort of like if Norwich fans were saying 'there goes our chance of Europa'. It never was and still isn't a realistic goal for our squad. Not saying we can't achieve it though.
yeah that's why i'm saying it. Whilst it's still a genuine possibility i will talk about it, aim high and all that, but i genuinely don't believe we'll finish 4th. Think 5th should be our ultimate aim and then maybe look to improve on that again next season
I'm going to be interested to see how we play this weekend without Fellaini, because if we don't make 4th we've lost him at the end of the season. If life goes on without him then finishing 5th is acceptable because we can aim higher next season with the money from selling him, but if we look pants, we're going to take another 2-3 years to get back into this position I think.
One thing's for sure, it's certainly going to be interesting isn't it mate.
I think we need to emphasise it more, it is a realistic target. It may be unlikely that we will achieve it, but we always have to aim for a little bit higher than we think we should get. I want to be disappointed with every point dropped, not happy with every point wonI think we really need to drop this emphasis on Champions League, it will do us as supporters no good because it's highly unlikely to happen, sort of like if Norwich fans were saying 'there goes our chance of Europa'.
