Player Valuation: £60m

Is this the stuff we used in the Summer? We played with a pink/orange top under the kit?

A la Rodwell, here

Seems massively OTT to me.....

Hit me with it Damon. I want answers

They do similar stuff in Aussie with the cricketers, call it the Gator-Tracker (Gatorade sponsor), measures how far they've run, heartrate etc, they also mic up some of the players so they can talk to the commentators while batting/bowling, it's great for telly, and some funny stuff comes out of it.

Who actually is gonna care about what the computer says? If a player is fit and running then fine, if he's not he's not. Sometimes people try to look too far into things.

Great. Even more money for Spurs.

I think its quality what they're doing..milking the marketting stream and making lots of money out of it. Our club cant even think of what pie to sell at half time never mind good marketting ventures.

Anyway...read up about this a year or 2 ago when one of the papers did a right up on the future of football - hawk-eye, stat screens at your seat, even the shirts pumping protein etc into the players system

Daniel Levy's deal for two seperate shirt sponsors this season - one for the Premier League and one for the Domestic Cup & Champions League was a masterstroke!
