let's see if Lampard has the nous and courage to dump these players. Some of them have now been giving this type of performance now under 4-5 managers. Time they were shipped out. Let Lampard build his own team.
Our next two matches are .....Wolves in the league. Palace in the cup. We start with Coleman Holgate and Keane, then we are conceding goals. And as our forwards are not scoring , we are losing those two matches. We are in trouble.
And the problem is that the likes of Patterson.....Branthwaite.....Onyango.....Dobbin .....don't seem to be trusted.
They couldn't have been much worse last night.
Lampard needs to ship our deadwood out. The whole lot. We all know who the are. Or they will drag him and the club down to the championship.
And I wouldn't even trust our defence to keep a clean sheet in that division.

The problem of players' quality cannot be solved immediately that needs time, frank needs 2 other transfer windows at least. We are living the consequences of the bad deals that everton made few years ago, Keane came from Man united knowing that he is not the best in the market, Delph came from man city just to touch a salary and be at home (not even training), Gomes came from barca after being criticized for bad performances. We need to stop this kind of deals from big clubs cuz they will never let them out if they deserve to play football. The club needs to invest in scout networks for talented youth players like Gordon...

They’ll all be forgiven next decent game they have at Goodison park. They’ve conned them fanbase so many times and the same lot fall for it every time.

Everton desperately needs at least four wins probably and most, if not all will have to be home games.

Ex players keep saying that Goodison Park is a very difficult ground to go to when the crowd is giving loud vocal support. Support, not boos and jeers.

Steve Nicol was asked yesterday about Everton's chance of staying up and his answer was 'Goodison Park'.

That's why the crowd has to back the team no matter what.

I can easily seeing it come down to goal difference, which was a fairly decent plus before Monday night

Yep...you are spot on. Of course when Everton bring a player on board , that player needs to be given a chance. But there are a few now who have been part of this problem ( awful collapses and poor runs of form ) for 4-5 years. Those players have imo been given every chance. They now need moved on. I know all that takes time. But by god we are very slow at moving on our duds. Terminate contracts. Do what has to be done.
We have a number now who are never going to do much for Everton Football club. Think we all know the players. Nothing will be achieved with them. In fact a few might ( though hopefully not) drag us down to the championship.
But you are right. We need to stop buying other teams duds. Going nowhere with that type of player. Looks like DVDB might be falling into that catogorie. Let's see.
So it's hopefully get rid of our duds. Coleman as back up next season. Nothing more than that.
And hopefully Lampard brings on board young players chomping at the bit to prove themselves. Along with our own talented youngsters. With a smattering of our better senior players.
And hopefully in the Premier League. Up The Toffees.
