Tottenham Hotspur

Having lived through the experience I wouldn't wish it on many. As with every club, there are the idiot fans that I won't feel too bad for, but people like yidlife and my brother-in-law are perfectly normal people and weren't head patters or wums. They're the ones I feel sorry for.

Depends on your view of sport I suppose, i see it as entertainment and laughing at other clubs demise is entertaining. They're both grown ups, they can handle it

is it weird that I’m looking forward to that relegation 6 pointer just as much as our games now ?

It’s a shame they got the RS next as I don’t want them winning but it would be hilarious if they went into the Forest game in the relegation zone

They've got Leicester written all over them IMO. Its a different beast relegation fights, as we all know. We have/had players who'd been there, a fanbase behind them, there was something to hang your coat on.

Leicester (financials problems off the field) had Dewsbury Hall, Maddison, Tielemans, Vardy, Harvey Barnes...all of who are now playing in Europe, champions league, top end of the league...still got relegated. All of them didn't have the stomach for it.

Its 100% how Spurs look. Good players. Not a good team. Spineless. Blame everyone else.

Far far to much "player power" going around at that place.

They are the polar opposite of a Bournemouth.

Our lads stood up to the fight, their lads already have their agents on the blower.. ( not all the lads, but the big ones )

They have one lad that has already fought through the whole turmoil, and he warms the bench.

Remove the ego's from the squad, make them train away from the club..

Something stinks there, but it sure as hell smells sweet here..

Hilarious meltdown by Spurs fan Matt on Talksport
I'd forgotten just how embarrassing this season has actually been.

Relegation scrap
Forest mugging them off with MGW
Thought they had Eze only for their bitter rivals to take him inside 5 minutes (and scored 5 against them this season)
And...... they did it again a week later with Hincapie

Oh and that their bitter rivals are prob gonna win the league and play the under 8's away at West ham

At the end of the day if you don't get enough points you deserve to go down and this is an Everton forum, so other clubs fans are going to see things they would rather not see. All is fair in love and war.

Like I say I can empathise with the people who seem decent enough Spurs fans. Football is the most important of the least important things, we know for some fans that could mean sleepless nights, not eating and stress levels that aren't good for your well-being. For that reason I won't gloat or kick them when they are down.

Just been speaking with a Spurs supporting mate, he has mates who go every game. It is not that they are trying to show a bit of passion themselves but they feel the players are not willing to give anything back, when the crowd do show the support.

There is a resignation that they are doomed because the players are giving nothing, apart from Archie Gray and Richarlison.

I think the players & managers aura with us was slightly different, Lampard was a likable chap and I think that the fans connected with that and the players were showing it for him and us. Dyche was not necessarily likable but certainly had a siege mentality attitude that, again, the players and fans caught onto and took it to another level, especially the fans. The fans taking it took the players higher again. It was a positive loop, Spurs just can't get that loop going with uninspiring players and managers.
