People freaked out about James heading off to the Colombia squad early

This is the captain of a club who could get relegated on the final day and he’s just nipped off to Argentina to watch his favourite team instead of being in the dressing room with the lads 🤣

That’s abysmal leadership and really shows why they are where they are, Seamus was giving rallying cries left and right

Shame @Yid4life no longer posts. Would be very interested to hear his opinion on someone who leaves the club as soon as the going gets tough.
I've always considered @Yid4life a decent fella from his posts on here, so on that level I wouldn't wish a relegation battle and relegation on him.

The whole saga with us flirting with it took a lot out of us as a wider fan base, but the difference is that I just don't see that belief and fight in them.

Their squad is far superior to what our squad was, and they've had and continue to have far better resources than we do. But this is two years now!

If they survive this year, I can see them finally sinking next year as they don't have the guts to face it head on.

Their squads superior talent wise but id have tarks, garner, gana and a few more anyway when it comes to having a bit of bottle in a relegation scrap

Which is what I was hinting towards with the guts comments, but I do not think that's the players alone - it's owners and many fans alike.

On talent alone, they should not be where they are in the league, regardless of the injuries they've had. Based on mentality, it's a deserved situation.

I always say, look at that Leicester midfield that went down
They went big money on Maddison - great player but absolutely bottled their relegation fight
We ended up with KDH - completely different attitude, fighter and still a very good player

I know who I prefer
