Still think any relegation talk is utterly absurd. Effectively 5 points clear and West Ham's toughest games still to play are Fulham, Villa, Brentford and Newcastle away, and us, City and Arsenal at home. Spurs literally will need about 5 points from here to be safe.

Honestly think this is the mindset of the players and club hierarchy and I think that’s dangerous .

There is a reason spurs are 9/2 but we’ve been in enough relegation battles to see teams get dragged into a spiral, a spiral from which there is often no way out .

Spurs will likely be ok but if they don’t get a win on the board handy I don’t think it takes much to pull them deeper into the battle and it only takes a couple of results and it’ll be too late then for those grinning laughing superstars strolling around the pitch to save them .

Next two games are critical. Palace away then Liverpool. If they lose both they could well find their lead almost gone and their confidence will be rock bottom.

The could sneak a couple of wins there I reckon, home to Wolves and/or Leeds and maybe an away win on the break against Palace or Newcastle. But surely Spurs will at least match whatever total they get.

Could actually see them picking up a few wins out of that lot. They’ll compete in most of those games and have City and Arsenal at home which aren’t the guaranteed losses they might be away from home.
