Tottenham Hotspur

Never less than 12pts off relegation last year despite being as low as 17th. But you had to read the horde of idiots all over the web crapping on about Postecoglou.

Had he stayed on, they'd have recovered better than Man U., but it's hard to convey that to idiots on the web who had a massive cactus up their arse over him.

Ah well.

Jeeze, reading this thread reminds me of how horrible it was for us over the last few seasons.

A giant sleep walking...wondering where a goal was coming from...praying DCL would be fit and find form and hoping Harrison would find the net or McNeil could stay injury free...

Dark times they were. Very dark.

The difference is we always had hope and support.

A full stadium, passion, flares, dogs...Spurs lack that and that could be what takes them down.

Logic says they won't be in danger when we play them but that same logic says they shouldn't be anywhere near the drop.
Really fear for them. They lack that mad passion we had in the fans a the players when we battled to stay up.
We had 3 and a bit walls of Goodison flesh, with the ghosts and grandeur to rely upon. Magic manifest in the memories.

I'm in agreement with @Simon Buttle

Postecoglu's way of playing appears to be a cause of their significant injury issues.

If he had stayed, I wonder how many others would have gone down injured.

The value of these injured players will have plummeted as well.

No they wouldn't have, he's the biggest single reason for the situation they're now in. He's instilled an appalling culture throughout the club. Massive arrogance with no accountability taken and weak mindsets when it comes to playing through adversity. He's a fraud who fluked a trophy by beating the worst United side in 50 odd years yet carries on as if he's got Antonio Conte's CV.

Cant see them winning another game at present. 7 to go, and I'd back West Ham to dig in and grind out some points. Could be an interesting final game of the season for us!

Noticed VDV went off at HT. He's the epitomy of everything wrong with that club IMO. Delusions of grandeur, bad attitude, no respect.

Clubs should stay well clear of him in the summer.
Unfortunately, have to agree. Guy is uber talented, but there's something off about him. And he's worn the armband for them...
