Set up was fine, not taking the chances in the first half killed us, as did the very soft pen

Those two missed chances cost us - Pen a mistake by Pickford, but he made some good saves their 2nd a deflected goal - just not enough players supporting the strikers imo....

Which strikers...maupay? Was useless all game.

Clear that we have massive problems in attack. One player out and we have no wide options off the bench. Just not good enough really and has to be sorted in January.

Badly need to cut out silly individual errors. The goal against Southampton, both goals last week and the penalty today all down to individual errors. Massively frustrating for the likes of Tarkowski and Coady who have been on it in those games but have been let down by others not doing their job. Different to last year when we often capitulated and just looked like a soft touch.

lost the game in the first half when we didn't convert at least 1 of those two chances. Having said that were were beaten by a better team in the end. Still better than last year. We need to be patient with the rebuild. We really were trash last season.

Just dont have a bench to change games, with gordon out we have no other width to bring on. Is frustrating with the two chances gray and onana. We really need players to hekp support the cf onana/ iwobi need to get closer to whoever is playing cf. hope to see us go back to 433 on wednesday and see a better result
