Fact is we didn’t replace Richarlison or DCL (who needs replacing) and this was the top priority. We can’t score and that’s not going to change any time soon. So as welcome as the defensive improvements are it’s poor recruitment to totally ignore the major priority.

Mate we're so bad in wide areas. McNeil is feeble and Gray just looks lost and is constantly making poor decisions. Need to find two or three more wide options in January for sure. Didn't even give it a go second half. Sigh.

When a commentator refers to us as a "potential banana skin" for Spurs, you realise how far we've decayed as a cub. Spurs FFS.

I mean they stuffed us 5-0 last season...

Expectations need to be tempered. Lampard realised we cant conceed 65+ league goals, he's sured up the defence. We now have legs in midfield, we just need to get better options in attack.

It's a building process, we are at the start of our journey, and time is needed.

It's who would come in for Gordon would have been the issue. Nobody offered £60m and if they had, it needed to be much earlier in the window.
