I think he cba personally.
You do get the feeling he takes the easy way out every time he has a niggle, some players do whilst others have injection and play through pain to their own detriment(and probably that of the team), how can you constantly be injured for 70% of the season, if he was a racehorse he'd be shot lol

Well it did look handball on most angles if I remember. I think they looked at it about 40 times. You couldn't see it live, but on camera it was very obvious.

Without opening up the can, here, there's a lack of objectivity.
(excuse the fact that the VAR cameras were out of sync at the time - not sure if they do it intentionally).
There's a clear discrepancy as to whether the ball hits Mina on the top of his arm, or whether it hits dele's hand. Even in 0.25 speed you just can't see, because the ball goes into a crowd of players and hits somewhere between the back of Mina's shoulder area and Dele's hand.

Obvious VAR last season was about 'clear and obvious', and even months later you can't really define it as that (unless, as I say, there's a bit of bias going on).

More on topic, I think it's really difficult to even think about judging what will happen in the game until transfer business is sewn up. I'm sure both clubs will be looking to make further changes depending on what happens in the general market, and that can really spice things up.

I'm generally a bit concerned that Everton have the same problems the Liverpool side of 3 years ago, in that the defence is still a bit shaky looking and unpredictable, whilst all the money is being put into attack.

For perspective, Everton have between 16 and 20 (depending on how you want to cut it) players in midfield and attack to choose from, for what must be a maximum of 6 places (beyond keeping them happy, you need to get some consistency rather than just mixing and rotating, so it'll be interest to see if that crop are cut down at all.).

Meanwhile, there are 8 defenders for four positions, including Branthwaite and Nkounkou (who are still very inexperienced).

I think carlo likes sigurdsson so i can see him trying to accomodate him into the team by trying this out

-------------Allan --------Doucoure-----------

Rodriguez-----Sigurdsson--------Richarlison
Yeah think it'll be something along those lines, perhaps even Sigurdsson playing a deeper role like Pirlo did at Milan.

It's never "clear and obvious" when it's against a so called Sky team is it? Funny that.

Well that's 2 minutes of my life I'm never getting back.

Pure brown that.

Pickford
Coleman Mina Keane Digne
Allan Gomes Siggurdson
Walcott DCL Richarlison

Can see Walcott playing on the right for a few reasons in the first few weeks; Let James get up to speed, cover Coleman with pace etc.

Would like to think we can certainly compete with them as we have much better options now, with James, Kean, Doucoure etc all attacking threats as well as those above. Don't think they've recruited very well either as they've not replaced Vertonghan and still very reliant on Kane who will of hardly had a pre-season whilst on international duty.

Fancy a win 2-1

Doucoure and Allan are so much better than Davies and Siggurdson in the center of the park that it doesn’t matter if they can’t speak a lick of English or communicate with the rest of the team, they’ll still be more effective than a Davies and Gomes pairing. I think we see a 4-3-3 with Gomes, Doucoure, and Allan in the middle. James to come on in the second half to see if we can sneak all 3 points.

It hit Dele's hand mate. In fact it doesn't even matter if it hit Mina's shoulder too because Dele's hand is over his head.
