Don't know about that, happy we are keeping possession and making Spurs do the chasing. Got sick of the sight of the likes of Southampton doing thirty odd passes around us and looking like Barcelona. Need more shots like but new boys look nice and sharp.

Promising. How can we trouble them a bit more 2nd half with the possession we’ve had? Got to get the ball in to the forwards a bit quicker, particularly Gomes. One of the midfield three is going to have to try to get ahead of the ball and make some support runs, bit static. Might also look to get the fullbacks a bit more involved on the overlap to create a bit of space.

All in all though, given the time they’ve had training together, this bodes well.

Don't think Gomes is playing badly, just think we are a bit narrow.
