Honestly changed the game. 4 crucial interceptions. 2 of them stopping nailed on goalscoring chances. Tried a couple of new turns and some okay passing. Added structure and discipline to midfield which helped us our massively.

I thought he had a fine game.
The team was much improved after he came on, controlled midfield far better than when Doucoure was on and defended really well.

Did better than Doucoure. But on the 2nd goal he could have kept running with their player, after he’d played the pass. Just watched it again, after being unable to catch him, he pulled up and was out of the game. If he’d tried to stay with him, he might have had a chance of an interception?

Onana does look to be a good prospect. And I agree, if he hadn’t lost the ball, we wouldn’t have conceded. However having not been able to catch their player, Davies didn’t make any attempt to stay with him, and basically just marked space

Laughable for anyone to blame him today. He's not good enough but at least 5 players had a worse game.
