Sturridge always tends to start off well at a new team, then fade. He seems to have it all; pace, strength, height and movement, but I get the impression throughout his career we will hear "should've done better" following his name. He does like to score against us though. 
They are still rubbish but have a bit of momentum behind them, Suarez back to missing great opportunities today. Gerrard is still influential for them as he has a winning mentality but he has dipped from his peak. The squad is ageing, the younger players don't seem up to much and the better players are soon going to have their head turned by teams that can offer them both big money and CL football.
I'm a bit worried of them finishing above us, but they tend to flatter to deceive against teams they consider as being rivals to the greatest club ever in the history of the entire universe and the most bestest supporters ever who never do anything wrong.

Stand by my word that Suarez is overrated. Very overrated.

This year he has mate, he'll go back to being average like he was last season soon. People are jizzing over him because he's been their stand out player and they are dying for a hero since Gerrard has declined, thats why all of the stuff he does is overlooked even though last season he couldn't hit a barn door with a banjo.
