This "saw the incident" BS needs to end. Just accept that refs are fallible (seemingly quite often this season), make mistakes and start punishing Suarez and his ilk for the pathetic snide **** they're constantly getting away with.

Love that Sunderland beat the barcodes.

Chalk one up for Di Canio.

Seems like he could be a good manager for them, if he can control himself. Sland is going to be a tough out.

Looks like Stockport County are going down to Blue Square North

Depressing times.

Anyone ever wants to defend Carlton Palmer, I just mention County. A club who were fighting for play off spots to the Premiership. He became manager and the decline never stopped. Now look at them.

No assets to speak off. Just a damaged name and 2-3 thousand loyal fans. Don't even own their own ground

Palmer's County team were so bad, I actually thought they were doing it on purpose as some kind of abstract art project

A real shame. A Town the size of Stockport really should have a better team. Stockport as a town is on the decline. Town centre is pretty much being boarded up one shop at a time.

They had over 6,000 at their last game, absolutely mad that they have fallen so far, deserve to be playing at a higher level

I think they should at least be League Two. Blue Square North is ridiculous, compared to where they used to be

Great that they got such a big crowd. I really wish someone would do with County what the guy who bought Crawley did

There's just no money in it though. If they at least owned the ground there might be some interest.

It was always going to be tough for County with City and United so near by

I still try and go to a match if Everton are away and I can't get a ticket

Its not just Carlton Palmer that is to blame for all their mess, they have been terribly run for ages by a variety of boards and the fans should really have stepped in by now - the administration of 2009 perhaps was an ideal opportunity - to make sure the club is run properly. A club that can get up to 6,000 should not be in financial problems in the BSP.

You only have to look at the change in Wrexham (who were "losing" £1 million a season before being taken over by their trust, this season they will break even or even make a small profit, especially if they go up in the playoffs) and Chester (who had actual crooks in charge, who were only got rid of by a strike by fans, the new club has of course just got promoted to the BSP proper after three promotions on the bounce) to see how much fan ownership can actually save clubs at this level.
