Neville, hate to break this to you, but Man Utd fans started that.

I dislike Stoke but that's just a case of wires getting crossed. Stoke fans thought you purposefully disrespected that kid, they responded in kind.

I am crying and shaking right now. Our lost son stood with dignity dripping from his soul before the dugouts like the Statue Of Liberty in front of all them big buildings. Impassive.

His warrior soul lost in the London lights like a Hendrix guitar solo as the wind cries Rafael. Shankly came down from Heaven to cradle Rafael’s crushed heart like a wounded songbird. “It’s alright son” said Bill “There’ll always be a place for you inside my gates that were named after me.”

As his head, so big because it’s full of love and dignity, sinks on his chest, the distant throbbing of “You’ll Never Walk Alone” reverberates in his heart. His BIG heart.

He knows we are keeping it warm for him. Every goal Chelsea concede is like a dagger in the groin of a saint. This fine dignified man will return home. One day.

I am going to bed now, where I can cry and shake in solitude and respect. Rafael’s dignity demands it.

WTF???

That should be put onto a brass plate and attached to the Shankly gates.......

Way off the mark our fans weren't taunting them over that they didnt even know what the clapping was about they were taking the piss out of their roar at the end that lasted for about 3 seconds.

Quote from a Stoke fan on Stokes Oatcake forum

Absolutely no excuses for singing 'that' song. Even in retaliation, it's pathetic.

Also, I didn't think the Man Utd fans were chanting 'what the f*cking hell was that' to the minutes applause... in fact a few of them actually joined in (I sit looking down on them from block 1). I think that song was aimed at the brief roar from our fans that followed the applause.

Most of the world has moved on from this stuff back in the day the munich stuff was sung a lot Everton included ( The older lads on here will verify this)

It was sung en masse today at Stoke by thousands which hasnt happened since the eighties (pre hillsboro)

The FA have tonight charged Manchester City player Sergio Aguero with sexual assault following an incident in today's FA Cup Semi-Final game at Wembley versus Chelsea.

Arsene Wenger is embarking on a twin strategy to revive Arsenal this summer by making a club record £30million bid for Borussia Dortmund's Mario Gotze while promoting a clutch of promising youngsters.

Wenger is ready to spend the £70m transfer fund at his disposal but that figure also has to cover the wages of new players, with Dortmund's 20-year-old attacking midfielder the prime target.

Gotze has a £30m buyout clause which would allow him to leave if a club make a bid to that value - and Arsenal are ready to do so.

He should try and buy Julio Cesar if QPR go down

If they get Champions League don't see why this couldn't happen.
