But by that logic you have to take into account how rubbish Sunderland are now and how much better than them we are, therefor we've been just as close to Liverpool as they are to Newcastle now.
But sure, winning an away derby 3-0 against a better team is very difficult and not really soemthing worth moaning about Moyes over. Just the fact he hasn't won one at all will do.
I'd say theres a lot of difference between a man going to nick for squaring up to someone, than someone racially abusing opponents, cheating, biting and acting like a snide coward 100 % of the time, and in Lennon's case inciting hatred between people, so that's a poor comparison. Besides we never hid what Duncan was, he was a bit of a thug, but an honest one. Lennon's a different ball game altogether.
Would you advocate us signing Marlon King if he was a top player
I think that stuff about Lennon is opinion more than anything else. I think he was quite dignified when he was getting death threats. To say he incited hatred is a bit strong as well. He was part of a disgusting feud that has tore a line straight through Scottish society. But then again, Duncan was part of that too. As was Walter, Gazza and any other play from either Rangers or Celtic that we've brought in. They've all been part of it so to place the blame solely on Lennon is a bit unfair. If you were to say you wouldn't want ANYONE associated with either Old Firm team, then I'd say you would morraly have the high road. That being said, I'd doubt you'd be okay with us shipping Jela back to Ibrox.
Yes the mans a straight up gibbon, but that's no reason not to have him at your club if he can do a job. The fact that he's a big part of Old Firm nastiness is not a good enough reason.
Neil Lennon.
Imagine it.
Jesus, Christ.
Bad time to play Sunderland now.

He straight up refused to condemn the Celtic fans who sent death threats to the referee, even though he had been through it himself, the mans a grade A bulb, who was getting outwitted by Walter Smith, until his job became the easiest on the planet, he can stay in the that grim league, part of a pathetic rivalry that suits him down to the ground. I'd rather the fat waiter took over than that little phoney hardman
